Intertextuální čtení Bible zkoumá revizní hermeneutické postupy autorů čtyř evangelií.

Každý z přispěvatelů zkoumá charakteristické způsoby, jakými kanoničtí evangelisté různými způsoby "obraceli" Ježíšův příběh prostřednictvím nového čtení Starého zákona. Různé způsoby čtení Písma Izraele evangelisty navíc korelují s různými vizemi ztělesněného života společenství Ježíšových následovníků.

Jedná se o vzrušující nové čtení evangelií, které přináší interdisciplinární a intertextuální čtení textů, formulované některými z nejskvělejších novozákonních badatelů naší doby.
